The OTCC Committees worked diligently over the last year to draft necessary rules for administering the OT Compact.  As such, it is time for three of those rules to be posted for the 30-day public comment period.  Please post these draft rules on your OT Licensing Board webpage and share widely with your constituents.  The instructions and timelines for submitting comments are included with each rule.  The rules are available on the OT Compact Rulemaking webpage:  https://otcompact.gov/ot-compact-commission/rulemaking/.

Looking forward:

  • Public Comment Period:  Jan. 13 – Feb. 14, 2025
  • Rules Committee Meeting to review/respond to the public comments:  Feb. 18, 2025
  • Executive Committee Meeting to review the responses:  March 10, 2025
  • OTC Commission meeting to vote on each draft rule:  April 16, 2025

All meetings will be posted on the OT Compact 2025 meetings page within the appropriate notification period: https://otcompact.gov/meetings-2025/
